Why is carmelo anthony wearing a green headband during the knicks basketball game?
Carmelo Anthony was wearing a green headband to celebrate the NBA’s Green Week. The Green Week will run from April 4 - 11, 2012. The NBA has partnered will the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) for the third annual NBA Green Week in an effort to generate awareness and funds for protecting the environment.
All 30 NBA teams will wear adidas Revolution 30 uniforms which are made from 60 percent recycled materials. Carmelo Anthony also laced up a white/green colorway of the Jordan Melo M6 and green rubberbands around his wrists.
