Completing the GED requires completion of 5 tests which take a total of 7 hours and 5 minutes to finish. If we break down that total time by test we find that test 1, Language Arts Writing is a total of 2 hours (Part 1 is 1 hour and 15 minutes, and part 2 is 45 minutes). Next is Language Arts Reading: 1 hour and 5 minutes. The third is Mathematics: 1 hour and 30 minutes. After that is Social Studies: 1 hour and 10 minutes. And the 5th test is Science, lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes.
