Who is Super Jase?

Jason Morgan, a character on General Hospital, is often called "Super Jase". He has earned the nickname because his character has survived so very... very much.

Morgan has been in a car accident and fell into a coma. When he woke up, he had amnesia. He was once shot due to his job as a mob enforcer. He later suffered a brain aneurysm due to a drug he took to bring his memory back. Several years later, he was pinned under rubble after an explosion and then shot twice.

Jason later survived yet another car accident on the way to his wedding. During surgery to repair his injuries, he nearly died. During his honeymoon, he was drugged by his nemesis, Franco. After he returned home from his honeymoon, he discovered that he was suffering from cerebral edema caused by the surgery. His wife Robin, developed a drug to save his life shortly before she died. Jason's most recent incident occurred in October 2012, when he apparently drowned.

Jason Morgan was most recently played by Steve Burton who played the character off and on since 2000. In 2012, Burton left the show.
