According to 9day.us, COMAC is the Walmart terminology used for display activity in the Food Area as directed by Walmart’s Home Office. If an item is ON COMAC it is typically scheduled to be on display in 2 week increments. COMAC’S items are normally force shipped to the stores to be displayed.
Sometimes Walmart associates use terms that customers are unfamiliar with. "Oh it's over by the GM doors," "It's on an endcap in the next aisle," "Let me get my Telxon to check that price for you," or "Please wait a moment, I have to call a CSM."
