How did Al Davis (Raiders Owner) make his money?

Al Davis was born into a wealthy family. He also earned money coaching. After college, Davis began coaching football at the collegiate level. By 1960, he became the offensive end coach for the LA Chargers. Only 3 years later, he became the head coach for the Oakland Raiders, making him the youngest head coach in pro football history. In 1966, he was the AFL Commissioner and later that year he purchased his first initial 10% stake in the Raiders football team. Davis died on Oct 8, 2011.
