Has there ever been a hurricane named Kimberly.
No, there has never been a hurricane named Kimberly. Depending on the region, a list of between 2 to 6 cyclone/hurricane names are rotated. For example, the names used in 2009 for the Atlantic region will be used again in 2015. For severe storms, the names are often retired and new ones are added to the rotation, such as Katrina and Andrew. The Fiji Region does have the name Kim in its rotation, but not Kimberly.
