Infidelity

Infidelity is the act of cheating, or being otherwise unfaithful to a spouse or other committed partner. 57% of men and 54% of woman admit to infidelity in some relationship that they have had. Research on divorce is conflicting, some say that 20% of divorces are caused by infidelity, and some put the number closer to 90%. Signs that a partner is being unfaithful include: detachment from family and friends, increased fighting, decreased interest in sex, increased secrecy (taking phone calls in private, using the computer late at night), or unexplained credit card charges at restaurants and hotels. Some famous cases of infidelity include: Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky; Tiger Woods and Jaimee Grubbs; John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, Jesse James and Michelle McGee; and LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian.
