American Idol

“American Idol” is a reality singing competition on the FOX network. The first season premiered on June 11, 2024 with hosts Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman. Seacrest continued hosting the program, but Dunkleman never returned for another season. The original judges for the program were Randy Jackson, Paul Abdul and Simon Cowell. The current judges are Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. Ellen DeGeneres judged for one season and Kara DioGuardi judged for two. The crowned American Idols are Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze and Scotty McCreery.
