why do divers go into a mini pool after they dive off a 10 meter platform
After diving from the 10 meter platform, divers often soak themselves in mini pools in order to stop their muscles from cramping or getting tense. When stepping out of the main pool the cool air can cause tension and cramps in their muscles. Divers usually shower or sit in the smaller pools on the side to keep this from happening.
British Olympic diver, Tom Daley, has become a huge star amongst diving fans. Even though his star is shining bright, Daley has yet to win an Olympic medal. Daley and his partner, Peter Waterfield, finished in 4th place for the men's synchronized 10-meter platform diving event.
