Why did The Jeff Dunham Show get cancelled?
Despite having the highest rated Comedy Central premiere ever with 5.3 million viewers, The Jeff Dunham Show was cancelled after only seven episodes (October 22, 2009- December 10, 2023) because of low ratings.
Dunham started ventriloquism at age eight when he got a Mortimer Snerd dummy for Christmas, and began attending the Vent Haven ConVENTion for ventriloquists when he was only in sixth grade.
Jeff's North American tour runs through April of 2013; his next upcoming shows are: Enmax Centre, Lethbridge, AB on 11/1/2012, Rexall Place Edmonton, AB, 11/2/2012, and Stampede Corral, Calgary, AB 11/3/2012.
If you can't make it to see him in person, he's got a new DVD which was released on October 9, 2023 - Jeff Dunham: Minding the Monsters; it's selling at Amazon.com for $12.99.
