who sang the 80's song "radioactive"?

"Radioactive" was sung by vocalist Paul Rodgers who also wrote it in 1984.

The song was performed by band, The Firm considered a supergroup as it was comprised by lead guitarist Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin drummer Chris Slade of Uriah Heep and Manfred Mann's Earth Band and fretless bassist Tony Franklin. Paul Rodgers himself, was a part of Free and Bad Company.

Later, Tony Franklin would go on to be part of Quiet Riot. Slade would later join AC/DC.

“Radioactive” was the fifth track in The Firm’s first album (self-titled), and peaked in the charts in 1985 with the these positions.

This should not be confused with the song of the same title by Las Vegas band, Imagine Dragons released in 2012.

Here are some news about The Firm reuniting.
