Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd lead the nominations for the 58th Grammy Awards.
Kendrick Lamar is the top nominee for the 2016 awards with 11 nods, including album of the year for "To Pimp a Butterfly" and song of the year for "Alright."
Lamar is followed by Taylor Swift and the Weeknd, who earned seven nods each, including album of the year.
For the top prize, Butterfly, 1989 and Beauty Behind the Madness will compete against Chris Stapleton's Traveller and rock group Alabama Shakes' Sound & Color.
While many fan favorites sneaked in under the radar, there some artists, songs and albums that the Recording Academy overlooked.
