Born and raised in Canada, Tonie Perensky has a rich theater background. At the age of 16, she was voted "Top Teėn Actor in the Provence." This award was given to her, no doubt, as a result of her experience as a gifted protege, who at the age of 13, was selected to be part of a unique program that had her working with the elite few University of Alberta BFA Grad students. The program was under the direction of New York's Mark Schoenberg.
