Former professional basketball player Jon Barry played for 9 NBA teams over his 15 year NBA career.

He began his career in Milwaukee in the 1992/1993 NBA season, where he played for 3 seasons. He then played for Golden State in the 1995/1996 season, the Atlanta Hawks in 1996/1997, and the Los Angeles Lakers in 1997/1998. He played for the Sacramento Kings from 1999 to 2001, the Detroit Pistons from 2001 to 2003, the Denver Nuggets in the 2003/2004 season, and the Atlanta Hawks in the 2004/2005 season. He finished his career as a member of the Houston Rockets for two seasons from 2004 to 2006.

His younger brother Brent Barry also played for 15 seasons in the NBA before retiring. While Jon never won an NBA Championship, Brent won 2 NBA Championships with the San Antonio Spurs in 2005 and 2007.

Jon Barry now appears on ESPN and ABC as a game and studio analyst. He recently came under fire for referring to Metta World Peace (Ron Artest) as Metta Weird Peace.
