The jury is still out on why crop circles exist. Some have admitted making them using a plank-like tool and a rope. Others are positive aliens are responsible. Other possible explanations have been electrically charged air currents, electromagnetic radiation, downdrafts caused by small planes or helicopters, and swirling winds.
According to researchers, most crop circles are similar in that they seem to be created overnight, have never been recorded except by hoaxers, and are usually close to easily accessible highways and roads.
Of interest, just recently two Canadian witnesses traveling east along Highway 16 near Marlobo, Alberta, say they were able to photograph and take a video of what appeared to be a UFO hovering above the tree tops about 400 feet away. Find out more from the Huffington Post.
