What is barry Weiss famous for other than storage wars?
Barry Weiss from Storage Wars was not famous before the show.
He is a lifelong collector of antiques, and worked in the wholesale produce industry for about 25 years.
There is another Barry Weiss who happens to be a music industry executive, but the two are not related.
Weiss was asked to join Storage Wars by the show’s creator, Thom Beers, who was a personal friend of Barry’s. Weiss has also had some of his classic cars in music videos.
In late 2011 Storage Wars became the A&E network's top rated reality TV series.
