What does incapacitating mean
Incapacitating (or incapacitate) means to take away ability or strength. In other words: to make something incapable. To use it in a sentence: “His leg cramps were incapacitating to the marathon runner.” Synonyms of “incapacitate” include “sideline” and “cripple.” Its origin dates back to the mid-1600s.
