Former Netflix customers are rejecting the $9 million settlement in the class action suit against the company. Netflix is accused of allegedly hoarding rental histories and credit card information. Much of the settlement will be donated to privacy nonprofits. If the $30,000 awarded to the 5 original plaintiffs was split between Netflix’s 30 million subscribers each would only get 1/10th of a cent.
