"Hello" was recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles in 1983. This was the second #1 song from Richie's second solo album, 'Can't Slow Down', after leaving the Commodores. His second album won the 1984 Grammy for Album of the Year, and is the biggest-selling album in the history of Motown Records.
Ola Ray on the other hand achieved her greatest enduring popularity as Michael Jackson's girlfriend in the hugely successful music video for the monster hit song "Thriller." Ray has acted in small parts in such movies as "Night Shift," "48 Hrs.," "10 to Midnight," "Fear City," and "Beverly Hills Cop II."
"Thriller" music video is considered the most famous music video of all time, at least by the Library of Congress, which added it to its National Film Registry in 2009, the first music video in their registry.
