was stevie wonder in the song "computer love" by zapp & roger?

No, Stevie was not in it. Computer Love is one of Zapp’s biggest hits, it was written by Shirley Murdock and both band members and brothers, Larry & Roger Troutman. According to Discogs.com, after the introduction of computerized music by Kraftwerk, this RnB interpretation of computer love produced by Zapp came along in 1985.

This 1985 classic electronic funk soul ballad single and Grammy Nominated R&B song, turned many heads during its very release. Known first for the electronic music sound, it was Kraftwerk who pioneered this style of music. But what the music enthusiasts of the world were not expecting was an R&B interpretation and introduction of these electronic music styles.

As per Neworleansmusicstore.tripod.com it also featured the vocals of one Charlie Wilson of The Gap Band together with Shirley Murdock.

The Gap Band and the Zapp Band had been on tour together when Roger invited Charlie to listen to a new track. This was the first time Troutman had put a ballad together and was nervous about the result. Wilson offered to help out and went into the studio to improvise lyrics over the track. It only took two tries on to arrive at the finished item.

Uncle Charlie's (Charlie Wilson) vocals features far more on the 94 mix while it stays faithful to the original.

Though Roger sadly passed away in 1999, the thrilling ZAPP legacy lives on, fueled by his original creative spirit, with the hard-working, fearless current lineup still cooking up crafty new material and playing to throngs of jumping fans.
