Ike's does good work, and it ain't cheap. The shop has been name-checked on countless Houston rap records large and small.
"Wanna Be a Baller" became a regional hit in Texas, the South, and the Midwest because of its singsong chorus, melodic synth, and reverb-laden 808.
The track exemplifies the best aspects of his album Sittin' Fat Down South: heartfelt flows, crisp production influenced by classic Houston rap and Oaktown funk, and a slew of guest appearances.
