No. It was Focus (the Atlanta-based record producer who first rose to fame when signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment) who made it.
But the song has the following lyrics that launched some confusion regarding the identity of its original producer:
I'm a dog, hound, Crestside clown
Gig so hard make my pants fall down
This beat pounds, cutty where'd you get it?
Oh you ain't know, Dr. Dre did it
But its just a joke line - as many know, Dr Dre didn't produce the beat.
The line is just trying to live up to what's the point of the whole song - just being silly and stupid, and trying to make you laugh.
Focus (born as Bernard Edwards, Jr.) has produced tracks for a number of artists including the late rapper Mac Dre.
When asked if it's frustrating, as a producer, to not get a just due so to speak for his creations (in an interview with Dubcnn.com), here's Focus' response:
It kills me, man, no lie. I have so many tracks out that people thought Dre did that I got tired of correcting them. I figure, if people truly want to know then they will read the credits. I produced Mac Dre's "Get Stupid" but in the song Mac says Dre produced it. 'Conglomerate' was another one people put out as a Dre production. Yeah, it irks me but it comes with running with a legend I guess.
