On the show "Storage Wars" what does Barry do as a profession

Barry Weiss, “The Collector” of Storage Wars worked in the produce business for 20 years before retiring. He owned a company with his brother, importing and exporting wholesale fruits and vegetables. Weiss is currently not employed, but rumors are that he is secretly a movie producer.

Although, he has been an antique collector his whole life, he says that he buys storage lockers for fun and not for a living. Weiss has been single for 28 years. He says he was previously married and that he has “a couple of kids.”

Storage Wars is currently the number one show on A&E and one of the top 5 shows viewed on cable. A&E’s Storage Wars:Texas premiered in January 2012 to a record-breaking 4.1 million total viewers. A Storage Wars for New York is rumored to be in the works.
