Pots, Pans and Other Solutions is a documentary about constructive solutions that were implemented in Iceland after the economic crash.

In Iceland, corrupt bankers had inflated the value of Iceland’s banks internationally which eventually burst in 2008 and saw most of Iceland’s banks going bankrupt.

The citizens took to the streets banging pots and pans in what is known as the “pots and pans revolution,” leading to the prosecution of many unscrupulous bankers responsible for the economic collapse.

Icelandic citizens refused any measures of taxation to bail them out and rejected to pay for the sins of the bankers.

This documentary was idealized, conceived and produced by Miguel Marques, Yolanda Rienderhoff, Pedro Bruno Carreira and LIGHTS ON(E).

In 2014, FilmOn Networks has launched Occupy Television, a free 24/7 online television channel which consolidates all previous sites providing Occupy news and commentary.

The release stated that: “Occupy Television’s goal is to circumvent mainstream media, with its multitude of conflicts of interests, in order to break out of the echo chambers of conventional political discussion.”
