Allen Iverson had only one Triple-Double.

As reported by NBA.com, Iverson recorded his first career triple-double, collecting 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers coasted to a 116-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Allen “BubbaChuck” Iverson is often recognized for his hard demeanor, his edgy personality and for the way he played every basketball game like it was “his last”.

Professionally Iverson was able to accomplish major goals that many believed he would not be able to obtain. Some of those include Rookie of the Year (1996), Most Valuable Player award in 2000-2001, 4 scoring titles, 10 All-Star appearances along with 2 All-Star MVP awards.

Iverson averages a blistering 26.7 points and is considered one of the best guards in NBA history. Recognized for his acrobatic and volume scoring skill he is regarded pound for pound as one of the toughest players to step on the hardwood.

Some big names, and big men, were announced as the newest members of the Basketball Hall of Fame on Monday. Yao Ming, at 7 feet 6 inches one of the tallest players in N.B.A. history and the player who drove the popularity of the sport in China, was enshrined.

So was the 7-1 Shaquille O’Neal, the colorful, quotable and dominant center who won four N.B.A. titles, in Los Angeles and Miami. But the attention Monday seemed to fall most heavily on Allen Iverson, one of the league’s greatest players listed at 6 feet or under. Read more at Nytimes.com.
