The film's production budget is somewhere in the $20 million region, just half the bufget of 'Grey'.
Fifty Shades of Grey enjoyed a budget of $40 million and went on to make $570 million, which after marketing and distribution costs would usually work out at a very healthy profit of around $200 million.
Fifty Shades Darker will be out on February 10, 2017. Along with Johnson and Dornan, the returning cast includes Marcia Gay Harden as Christian's mum and Rita Ora and Luke Grimes as his siblings Mia and Elliot. Christian's bodyguard Taylor is also back, played once again by Max Martini.
