Did dog the bounty hunter ever catch marco madila? I know he was hunting him in colorado.

No. Marco Padilla has not been caught by Dog the Bounty Hunter, Mexican police did.

The Daily Sentinel reported in February 2012 that Mexican police found Marco Antonio Padilla. Local officials learned that police in Guadalajara, Mexico, were holding Padilla after his arrest there. Mexican police reached out to U.S. marshals, who contacted counterparts in Mesa County, according to the Mesa County District Attorney’s Office.

The circumstances surrounding Padilla’s capture were unclear.

Wanted on a warrant with a bond of $150,000, Padilla has been a Mesa County fugitive since November 2007, when he failed to appear for a jury trial on charges including conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Padilla and his case were relatively unknown in Mesa County until September 2008, when Duane Chapman, the star of the A&E television program “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” was hired to find Padilla. Safety National Casualty Corp., a St. Louis-based insurance company, hired Chapman toward preventing the forfeiture of a $75,000 bond posted while Padilla was awaiting trial, according to court records.

A judge ultimately issued an order forfeiting the bond.

Chapman in September 2008 searched over several weeks in Grand Junction, Denver and Pueblo, while arresting three of Padilla’s cohorts along the way, but Padilla eluded capture.

The search was the subject of several “Dog the Bounty Hunter” episodes.
