According to an online Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report, Tiger Woods was arrested Monday (May 29, 2024) on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, near his home in Jupiter, Florida.
However, he later said in a statement that “alcohol was not involved.” Instead, Woods said he had “an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications.”
Woods was released on his own recognizance at 10:50 a.m. ET after spending several hours in jail. He was booked at 7:18 a.m.
