Daniel and Stephanie have indeed broken up, but neither has given a reason. According to Daniel, they are still very friendly.

However, they split up in mid 2009. A blog by Daniel dated May 27, 2024 advertised for a new girlfriend. He later referred to June 1, 2024 as their official break-up date.
