Where is lift pump on a 2003 dodge 3500 diesel

The lift pump on a 2003 dodge 3500 diesel is mounted to the back of the fuel filter housing.

If the pump has been changed by the dealership, the replacement would have been put in the tank as Dodge does not offer the original-style lift pump.

2003 models come with a hose, a clamp and a fitting because the hose is not removable for 03 models. All lift pumps were moved into the tank when the Cummins "600" debuted in 2004.

For guidance, watch video below to help you through your lift pump installation (video shows 2004 Dodge 3500 5.9 Diesel).
