Where did vince wilfork go to college

Vincent Lamar Wilfork of the Houston Texans is from the University of Miami.

He's one of the nation's finest defensive linemen. At Miami, he's a first-team Preseason All-American by The Sporting News for 2003. He was also rated the nation's no. 2 defensive tackle by The Sporting News entering the 2003 season.

Wilfork is a dominating player in the mold of former Miami greats Warren Sapp, Cortez Kennedy and Russell Maryland.

He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the first round (21st overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft - signed by New England (7/19/04). He has played in 142 games with 132 starts over 10 seasons with the Patriots (2004-13). The Patriots own a 111-31 (.782) record in Wilfork’s 142 career regular-season games.

He joined the Houston Texans in 2015 after signing a two year deal ($9 million with $5 million guaranteed).
