Russell Westbrook played college ball at UCLA for 2 seasons (2006-2008).

Russell Westbrook played in 75 games (35 starts) in two seasons and had an averaged of 8.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game. Westbrook helped UCLA advance to the NCAA Tournament’s Final Four in 2006-07 and 2007-08. He guided the Bruins to the 2008 Pac-10 Conference regular-season and tournament titles.

During his two seasons at UCLA, the Bruins went 65-10, including a 31-5 record in league games and while at UCLA, he played alongside future NBA players Arron Afflalo, Darren Collison, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and Kevin Love.

In latest buzz, before Tuesday, Russell Westbrook had a combined nine Russell's Reading Rooms in Oklahoma City and Los Angeles. That number expanded to 19 before the end of the day.

Westbrook gathered in a newly-painted room and handed out book certificates to students at Adams Elementary on Tuesday morning. He then picked up a big pair of scissors and cut the ribbon on the latest effort to improve youth literacy. Read more at NewsOK.com.
