When does walmart mail w2?

As stated on the Internal Revenue Service website, employers must mail or otherwise provide Copies B, C and 2 of Form W-2 to the employee by January 31.

Like all employers, Walmart is required to provide a copy of W-2 form to its employees on an annual basis, no later than January 31.

If an employee stops working before the end of the year, he/she should be given Form W-2 anytime prior to January 31, but no later than January 31. If the employee asks for the Form W-2, they must receive Copies B, C, and 2 within 30 days of the request, or within 30 days of the final payout, whichever is later.
