Whats the largest great white shark ever photographed?
Likely the largest Great White Shark recorded was caught and weighed in Seven Star Lake, Hualien County, Taiwan. The shark was caught on May 14, 1997, and weighed a mind bending 2,500kg (over 5,511 pounds!) Its length has conflicting measurements, but was between 6.7 and 7.0 meters long (that's roughly between 22 and 23 feet!) We can almost hear echoes of Roy Scheider now ... "You're gonna need a bigger boat."
