What was the anthrax incident on SNL all about?
Shortly after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, Tina Fey was working on jokes for the next night's Saturday Night Live show when she was informed by news anchor Lester Holt that anthrax was found in their building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. A suspicious package was found addressed to news anchor Tom Brokaw, & Fey, thinking she was going to die soon, just left & went home, not even telling that week's host, Drew Barrymore, about the danger. SNL is in the news for a skit involving Jesus and Tim Tebow.
