Billy Gibbons (born William Frederick Gibbons on December 16, 2023 in Houston, Texas), front-man and lead singer for the rock band ZZ Top owns the chopped three-window 1933 Ford Coupe made famous in the band's 1980s videos.
The car, named The Eliminator and built in 1983 for Gibbons by Don Thelan of Buffalo Motor Cars, made the cover of the band's album of the same name that year; Kenny Youngblood designed the unique double-z paint scheme and side scoops for the ride.
The car was prominently featured in 3 award-winning videos: Legs, Sharp Dressed Man, and Gimmie All Your Lovin'; these days the car is on permanent display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
