The silver car that Paul Walker's character owns at the end of the movie Fast Five is a 2010 Nissan GT-R R35.
The Nissan GT-R R35 was launched globally at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. The 2010 Nissan GT-R R35 uses the VR38DETT 60-degree V6 engine. This engine is loosely based on the VQ series engine. The R35 is also built on a new platform called the PM (Premium Midship).
The first GT-R version of the Skyline was released as a sedan in 1969, with a coupe version following in 1971. The next generation of GT-R was produced in 1972, but it only lasted through the 1973 model year. The GT-R trim level was not offered on the Skyline again until the R32 Skyline release in 1989.
