Camila Cabello debut album is called The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.
The release is her first album since parting ways with Fifth Harmony, and the first full-length solo effort of her career. It follows her one-off collaborations on "Bad Things" (with Machine Gun Kelly), "Love Incredible" (with Cashmere Cat) and "Hey Ma" (with Pitbull and J Balvin).
Its lead single, which debuted in May is "I Have Questions."
"It's kind of like having a huge block of marble and carving out a statue," she tells Rolling Stone of the process of culling together lyrics, stories and music from the last few years of her life.
She wrote the lyrics for the ballad "I Have Questions" a year and a half ago, while "I'll Never Be the Same" was inspired by a relationship she had a couple years back.
"In the Dark" had been written the day after the Grammys about an encounter with an unnamed famous boy she had met at an after-party. Read more at RollingStone.com.
