What is a sales pitch for cytoskeleton

You might have encountered this phrase when doing the "Cell Catalogue" project.

In commerce, the "sales pitch" is an argument or other persuasion used in selling; a promotion by means of demonstration. A salesperson's sales pitch is what they say in order to persuade someone to buy.

When creating the cell catalogue project, you should design a page in your catalogue for every organelle and its analogy.

Your page must include a written description of your organelle (function and structure), a sales pitch (commercial slogan), the price of the organelle (make it up), and a full color diagram to illustrate your “product” and your analogy.

Here, the "sales pitch" should be analogous to the the function of the cytoskeleton.

So, you can create the "commercial slogan" for cytoskeleton using the multitude functions that the cytoskeleton can perform:

Cytoskeleton provides the cell with a certain shape.

The cytoskeleton helps the cell move in its environment and controls the movement of all of the cell's interior workings.

When a cell undergoes mitosis, or cell division, and divides into two cells, the cytoskeleton plays essential roles in the equal distribution of chromosomes into each new cell.

Cytoskeletal filaments called microtubules connect to chromosomes and are part of what pulls the chromosomes into the daughter cells.

The cytoskeleton does not just give the cell its shape, it anchors the cell to neighboring cells and to the protein network on which the cell is sitting.
