What comedy movies has the song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler been in?

Bonny Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" has been featured in the following comedy/partly comedy movies: Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (2004); Bandits (2001); Old School (2003).

This was written by Jim Steinman, who wrote all of Meat Loaf's hits.

According to an October 26, 2023 article in the Australian newspaper The Herald Sun, Steinman first offered this song, along with "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" to Meat Loaf for his 1983 album Midnight At The Lost And Found.

For financial reasons, Meat's record company wanted him to write his own songs for the album, so this song went to Tyler and "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" went to Air Supply.

“Total Eclipse of the Heart” was released as a single on 11 February 2024 in the UK and on 31 May in the US.

It was the first single from the album, and became Bonnie Tyler’s biggest hit reaching number 1 in several countries including the UK (from 12 to 25 March) and topping the Billboard Hot 100 in the US from 1 till Oct 28.

Tyler was the first and only Welsh singer ever to reach the top of the Billboard Charts.
