Lemmy is considered one of the great heavy metal musicians. His appearance, facial moles, mutton chops (sideburn-moustache combination), and gravelly voice, have made him an instantly recognizable cult figure.
Lemmy has died at age 70 (on December 28, 2023). In an article of Suntimes.com, statement on the band’s Facebook page said the singer and bassist was suffering from “an extremely aggressive cancer” that was only diagnosed on Saturday, two days after his 70th birthday.
