Country music artist, Lari White, lost the little finger of her left hand when she was 13 months old. The accident did not affect her piano-playing - she won a state-wide Chopin competition at 16.
Another country singer, Jake Owen, had the top part of his right ring finger amputated after after sustaining serious injuries in an accident.
You might also heard about the story Trace Adkins' finger. After he graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in petroleum technology, Adkins’ left pinky was cut off while he was working on an oil rig. Luckily, doctors were able to reattach the finger, but it is permanently bent at an angle.
