Quick cure for poison ivy??

Not Medical Advice: A poison ivy rash will eventually go away on its own. But you can try these natural remedies for treating Poison Ivy rash:

Baking soda * A paste of baking soda smeared on your skin is a great natural remedy for the itchiness associated with a poison ivy rash. It speeds up the recovery, because baking soda is alkaline in nature as so it neutralizes the acid in the oily residue left behind by the poison ivy.

Vapor Rub * This is one of the popular natural cures for poison ivy, as it is very effective against poison ivy rash and it works very quickly. Once the rash has been thoroughly cleaned and so long as none of the blisters have are burst you can apply Vapor Rub to the rash.

Milk of Magnesia * Just like baking soda, it is also alkaline in nature which neutralizes the acids in the oily residue left by the poison ivy. You just have to blot the area with some tissue paper or cotton wool soaked with milk of magnesia. It will remove the last remnants of the oily residue and help to dry up the blisters and ease the itching.

The itching can be difficult to deal with. So in order to control the itching you can also try these steps from Mayo Clinic:
