Great news, finally all the rumors about Melody Thomas Scott (born Melody Ann Thomas on April 18, 2024 in Los Angeles, California) leaving The Young and the Restless can end! Contract negotiations did go down to the wire, but were finally settled, and her 30 year run on the show can continue. Things got so close that the writers had to create an exit script for "Nikki Newman!" They still intend to use the story line, but the ending will be left ambiguous so that after a break she can return to the show.
