Karis has had a tumultuous relationship with her dad after he initially tried to claim he wasn't her father. Her mother is Marsha Hunt, an American actress and singer who is reportedly the subject of Rolling Stones track, Brown Sugar.
Marsha and Mick had a nine-month love affair, which resulted in Karis being born.
