No. Katey Sagal's visible scar while playing Gemma in "Sons of Anarchy" is a fake. The make-up artist glues a long fake scar to her chest prior to filming.

Prior to her career in "Sons of Anarchy", Katey was an aspiring singer. She sang backup for an eclectic mix of artists, such as Olivia Newton-John and Etta James, Molly Hatchet and Tanya Tucker. Katey even wore mermaid fins for Bette Midler and has helped make Gene Simmons' 1978 solo album a little less cringe-worthy.
