No, rapper Tyga has not died, however he was recently linked with rapper Freddy E. who committed suicide in January 2013.

It was originally thought that Freddy E., along with ex-girlfriend, Honey Coc@ine, were both signed to Tyga's label, Last Kings. In actuality, Tyga has denied knowing Freddy E. (although Honey Coc@ine is indeed signed to his label).

You may not know that Tyga, which stands for Thank You God Always, is cousin To Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. Tyga got his start in rapping when he gave McCoy his mixtape.

His first album was No Introduction, released in 2008 and in 2011, he released his second album, Careless World:Rise of the Last King. He has also released several mixtapes. Tyga's third album, Hotel California, is scheduled to be released on March 19, 2013.
