The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf bullion coin has been minted by the Royal Canadian Mint since 1988. The 1 oz. bullion coin has the highest face value of $5 CAD ($4.51 USD) and purity of silver .9999, among all the world's investment bullion coins.

The obverse side of the coin displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt, while the reverse side of the Canadian Silver bullion coins features the national symbol of Canada, the Maple Leaf. Inscribed at the bottom of the silver bullion coin is "FINE SILVER, 1 OZ, ARGENT PUR" the coin's Fineness and Weight in the English and French languages.
