How much is (((13x3)-3)/3)

First step is to do the 13 x 3. Then once you have that answer you minus the 3, & then you divide by 3 & you end up with 12.

The order of operations tells us the order to solve steps in expressions with more than one operation. First, we solve any operations inside of parentheses or brackets. Second, we solve any exponents. Third, we solve all multiplication and division from left to right. Fourth, we solve all addition and subtraction from left to right. If parentheses are enclosed within other parentheses, work from the inside out.

To remember the conventional order of operations, you can think of PEMDAS:

Parentheses

Exponents

Multiplication and Division

Addition and Subtraction
