He also remarked that "we’re kind of making enough money that we can go buy drugs and booze and have the best time of our lives post-work."
Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, and Anders Holm are also series creators, writers, and leads. According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, writers and authors 2015 median pay is $60,250 per year or $28.97 per hour.
Basically, most first-time jobs are determined by rates set by the writers guild (WGA), directors guild (DGA) and acting guild (SAG-AFTRA).
